The tool posts on both sides of our vertical turning lathe machines have a cross-section of up to 70x70mm and can withstand cutting forces as far as 80kN. This strong structural design not only protects the cutting tool from cutting forces, but also guarantees that the tool bit does not become deformed, even when deep-hole machining or turning complex contour surfaces.
2. Hydrostatic Guide Rail Technology.
For major vertical turning machines, those with diameters over Φ5000mm, we have high-performance hydrostatic guideways offered as a standard equipment. With constant film pressure, the worktable is entirely separated from the guideways; this allows the system to sustain a very high load level and totally eradicates the problems of abrasion resulting from metal-on-metal direct friction.
